OnStage XCG4 Tripod Guitar Stand (Black) review Feature: is easy to set up.... is very sturdy and padded. The lock mechanism works great to prevent guitar from being accidently knocked out of the stand. Quality: If you use this in the studio or in applications where you won't be taking it down and re-assembling frequently, the quality is good. Value: For 10 bucks?... how could it not be a 10 Desirability: I will be getting more as the need grows. Sound: does not apply to this Support: Hasn't broken, but the first one worked so well I bought a second and will buy more as required. Overall: You can get better quality. You can get stands that fold up and are quite portable. This stand is meant to remain stationary, so is geared nicely to studio use. It's excellent if you aren't moving around with it frequently.
