Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Neck Humbucker Pickup (Black) review Value: It is worth its selling price. When purchasing quality guitar pickups the price is irrevelant, especially if you are into getting better sound out of your guitar. Desirability: The humbucke shows the magnets and screws, as a typical uncovered humbucker. The marvel comes from the sound of the humbucker. However, it looks good on black guitar body when surrounded by white pickup harness. Sound: The Seymour Duncans will haver overall high sound quality. The Alnico II Pro humbuckers have a warm but glassy sound with powerful deep tones. The Bridge humbucker shows this characteristic as it sounds with just the right amount of brightness and warmth on the higher notes. It's just the sound I was looking for, which plays really good both clean and distorted. Overall: I expect to maintain these humbuckers on my guitar forever, and will probably purchase another pair when I get another guitar. The sound I get right now by combining a Les Paul with Seymour Duncans is awesome.
